We initially met LA architects at the Danish Embassy in 2015, during our seminar ‘How to run a profitable practice’, at The Livable City Conference. Since then, we have met the team at similar events, and have visited their beautiful practice just outside Brighton a few times. During these visits we presented AutoPilot and discussed how the system would assist their working procedures. At the beginning of 2020, LA architects implemented AutoPilot.
LA architects is a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice, with a focus on sports and leisure design. They have more than 28 years of experience within their field, and they aim to create buildings and facilities that inspire excellence in sport, and joy in people. As they say, “The reason for this is simple… we enjoy what we do, and we do it well”.
An unusual beginning
Due to Covid-19, LA architects has had an unusual introduction to AutoPilot. We typically strive to implement AutoPilot, and introduce new users to the software, through face-to-face workshops and meetings. This was, of course, not possible, due to the current reality.
Luckily, this did not hinder our communication and our close relationship with the entire team at LA. Workshops, teachings and meetings happened through online platforms, where everyone attended just as they would have, had we been physically present in Falmer. Despite the less than optimal situation, the system has been implemented and the Practice is currently planning, invoicing and logging their hours and expenses through AutoPilot.
“Thank you” to all at LA architects, for your incredible flexibility, and a big warm welcome.
We look forward to a wonderful partnership.
