AutoPilot has, since 2015, considered opening an office in the UK. And when Signe joined the team in the summer of 2019, things have especially escalated.
Throughout the past 5 years, we have spent a great effort and time on establishing a foundation in the UK. We’ve travelled back and forth, landed our first clients, and built a network within the industry. So the natural next step was to place someone on British soil. And that is exactly what we have done now.
Who?
Signe, who is our marketing and sales associate from Denmark, will act as our new country manager in England. Amongst other places, Signe lived in London years ago, so she is familiar with the city and culture. Signe’s desire to live abroad and her knowledge of AutoPilot therefore presented an ideal opportunity. Signe has moved to London, and is our new Country Manager.

Why England?
The English AEC industry has many similarities to the Danish industry. The size of practices, work and project processes as well as the concepts used are all similar to the Danish market. Furthermore, we have established a close collaboration with the Trade Council at the Danish Embassy, where we have held seminars and established a great network within the industry.
The Danish and English office
Signe and the English office will ease all communication with UK clients. The Danish office will, however, act in close dialogue with the office at all times. Our consultants and hotline will continue to be primarily located in Denmark, with Signe functioning as the primary point of contact in England.
